Katrina Committee

St. Matthew's United Methosit Church continues to support several families that were evacuated during the hurricane in 2005. Presently the KFC (Katrina Family Committee) is providing suport to five families (10 individuals)

Several families have relocated out of San Antonio, others have relocated from the Crest Apartments or are planning to relocate elsewhere in San Antonio. One, who returned to New Orleans, calls periodically with updates about her and family.

Poor health, lack of employment and transportation needs, continue to be major problems for our Katrina families. These families need our love, understanding and support. Please say an extra prayer for them that their needs be met.
