Jesus said the bible is like food or bread. Feeding the spiritual side of us is important, otherwise we will feel spiritually empty and malnourished.

If you haven't read the Bible you may want to try reading Mark's Gospel - it's short and punchy in style. If you want to know how your faith can be lived out in daily life, try reading the book of James.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We recommend the New Living Translation - feel free to ask us if you need a readable Bible. If you've been around the church for a while, you may want to get your teeth into John's Gospel or try reading Ephesians.

If you'd like a little devotional to read every day, simply ask us for a 3 month copy of The Word for Today - its incredibly life related and practical. You can also find the Bible at https://www.biblegateway.com/ or download the Bible app here: https://www.youversion.com/the-bible-app/.
